Exmouth Information

If you’re looking for a holiday full of wonder with magnificent landscapes, pristine beaches and nature in all its glory, both in the water and on dry land, then look no further than Exmouth, Western Australia.

Ideally positioned, a holiday in Exmouth offers access to the rugged beauty of the Cape Range National Park contrasted with the aquatic splendour of the world renowned Ningaloo Marine Park.

Swim out in shallow waters to see the parade of coloured coral on the Ningaloo Reef or if the lure of the big fish is your holiday dream, head offshore to net yourself a prized catch. There is quality accommodation, shopping and eating outlets to ensure your holiday exceeds every expectation.

WHALESHARKS - They generally arrive just after the coral spawning that occurs after the full moon in March and April. The Whalesharks congregate to the Ningaloo Reef to feed on microscopic creatures known as zooplankton, which gives many visitors the chance to swim with the worlds biggest fish.

JURABI TURTLE CENTRE - This interactive centre displays information on turtles that inhabit the Ningaloo Reef. This centre is not enclosed and is open any time of the day.

MANGROVE BAY - Mangrove Bay is a favourite with ornithologists. Located within the Cape Range National Park, approx 43km from Exmouth. An observation bird hide has been built here which provides an excellent viewing area to study the birdlife.

MANTA RAYS - Huge schools of Manta rays can be seen yearly between May to November and snorkellers can use the opportunity to swim with these playful creatures

FISHING MAURITIUS BEACH - Located approx 21km away from Exmouth. This beach is popular with fisherman and beach goers that prefer an all over tan.
